Role Overview
As a Physical Therapist with Azzur Workforce Solutions, you'll evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or disability at our partner facilities across Los Angeles County. We place PTs in inpatient acute care, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics, and rehabilitation centers — matching your specialty, preferred setting, and schedule to the right opportunity. Whether you specialize in ortho, neuro, or geriatric rehabilitation, Azzur will connect you with a facility where your expertise can make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to assess functional limitations, strength, mobility, and pain levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and evidence-based interventions
- Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) where applicable
- Document evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team for optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist license — required
- Graduate degree (DPT or MPT) from an accredited PT program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1+ years of clinical PT experience (new grads considered for select outpatient roles)
- Board specialty certification (OCS, NCS, GCS, etc.) a strong plus
- Strong documentation skills and EMR/PT software proficiency
