Role Overview
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse with Azzur Workforce Solutions, you'll provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians at our partner facilities across Southern California. We place LVNs in full-time and per diem roles at outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care centers — matching your license, experience, and schedule to facilities where you'll thrive. Whether you prefer the structure of a clinic or the continuity of long-term care, Azzur will find the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer oral, IV, and injectable medications per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as assigned
- Collect specimens, perform basic diagnostic tests, and prepare patients for procedures
- Educate patients and family members on care plans and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active California LVN license — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required
- 1+ years of clinical LVN experience preferred (select new grad positions available)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently under supervision
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus for select facilities
